Collaborations

Nicole Rose Al Rais partners with events, resorts and hotels, cultural organizations, and brands on content that carries real authority without sounding like a lecture. As a fashion designer and PhD researcher, she brings a genuine point of view to a project — the kind that comes from studying a subject and living it — across travel and tourism, culture, beauty, fashion, and fragrance. The result is content that reads as her own rather than as an ad, which is also why it tends to travel.

Nicole participated as a panelist at Expo 2020 Dubai in the Women’s Pavilion, where she shared insights on women’s issues in media, drawing from her background in research and social media. She discussed her experiences as a Muslim convert and foreign wife in the UAE, offering a unique perspective on identity and representation in a cross-cultural context.

Nicole collaborated with The Zay Institute, a nonprofit organization in the UAE dedicated to preserving cultural heritage through the collection, documentation, and digital archiving of Arab historical attire and their stories. As part of this collaboration, Nicole hosted a podcast episode with the institute and authored several articles exploring her research on "Glocalized Bodies" and the interaction between global trends and local culture in the UAE. Together, they aimed to empower global cross-cultural dialogue and inspire creative minds through shared insights on identity and fashion in a rapidly evolving cultural landscape.
